Sri Lankan voices will unite in harmony for the ConChord Choir concert in Melbourne.
ConChord is a multi-ethnic, multi-faith and multi-lingual choir from Sri Lanka Invites, a group working towards reconciliation in Australia.
The choir has grown to more than 50 voices and will be singing songs in English, Sinhalese, Tamil and Welsh. Having different ethnic groups sing together is an important symbol of reconciliation in Sri Lanka.
The concert will feature songs from a diverse range of genres, including Broadway, pop and classical.
It will be held at Haileybury College on Saturday 12 September from 6pm-8:30pm.
Tickets are $20 per person or $40 for a family of three. Food and drinks will be available for sale on the night.
