
Rev David Dong Won Kim and Rev Sandy Brodine will begin roles within eLM in March next year.
The UCA VicTas Synod has announced two appointments within the equipping Leadership for Mission unit.
Rev Sandy Brodine will join the team as Younger Generations – Education and Strategy Co-ordinator, while Rev David Dong Won Kim will fill the role of Multicultural Ministries Coordinator.
Sandy is currently one of the ministers in placement at the Banyule Network.
In her 12 years there she has seeded several new worshipping communities, working in several iterations of the Banyule team ministry.
A trained teacher, Sandy is passionate about growing supportive intergenerational communities where children and young people can grow their faith and ask honest questions.
David Kim comes to eLM from 17 years of congregational ministry in the Synod of Queensland, and ministry in South Korea and the USA.
He is also a member of the Korean National Conference executive.
David is passionate about supporting CALD leaders and migrant communities in their mission, growing networks of CALD leaders, and supporting the work with second-generation young people.
Both appointments will commence in March next year, with more details, including a date for Sandy and David’s induction, to come.
