Iftar at Carlton Church of All Nations It was a historic occasion at Scots Memorial Uniting Church as the congregation became the first church in Tasmania to host an Iftar dinner earlier this month.
Tasmanian Christians and Muslims are leading the way in promoting religious goodwill.
This month we commemorate the 41st anniversary of the Uniting Church in Australia. It’s not nearly as exciting as last year’s 40th birthday. There will be fewer cakes and parties and events I imagine.
As I write, I am busy preparing for celebrations for the 40th anniversary of the Uniting Church (which will be over by the time you read this).
