Once again we find ourselves waking to shocking news of terrorism taking lives, upending our certainty, making us feel vulnerable and shaking our hope. We offer our prayers and our love to the people of France, to French nationals in this country and anyone who is concerned about family or friends travelling. We also offer our solidarity to Muslim people in this country who will once again fear that their faith and humanity will come under attack.
We affirm our faith that goodness is stronger than evil and love is stronger than hate.
I offer this prayer.
God of enduring grace
Shape our living that it might reflect your goodness and love
Shape our praying that we might remember the suffering ones of the world
Shape our hoping that we might seek to be peace makers. Amen
