Mathew Sitko’s SUV was hanging precariously over the edge of a canyon when a man rushed to his aid. The photo above shows the man pulling Mr Sitko to safety. Police witnessed the man rescuing Sitko, but he left before they could get his name.
The mystery man was later identified as Jason Warnock.
“I didn’t feel like I deserved any credit or anything,” Mr Warnock told ABC News. “I just did what anyone would do, so I went right back to work and got out of there.”
Many thanks to Peter Byrne for sharing the story.
