His previous experience has included website management, government policy and social media promotion for volunteer charities and not-for-profits.
In his spare time he is also a freelance writer, avid blogger and indiscriminate reader.
Born in Ireland, Mr O’Cuana moved to Australia in 2008 and, after yo-yoing back and forth several times between Sydney and Dublin, became an Australian resident in 2011.
Mr O’Cuana sees the online environment as an invaluable communication tool for congregations.
“I am really looking forward to helping folks get the word out online about the good work they are doing in their communities,” he said.
Mr O’Cuana is the first point of contact for congregations looking to set up a new website to promote their activities, or for advice on how best to manage their online resources.
