“Pancake Day is a fantastic opportunity to bring people together for a fun day to enjoy a hot pancake and support UnitingCare and its work with young people and we are delighted to have the great chef Adriano Zumbo on board to help raise awareness of this important work.
“We hope to support children and youth, from infants to teenagers and the money raised will go toward programs that offer support to disadvantaged children, youth development and family support.
“We are asking for people to help us to enable young Australians to become active and productive members of our community,” Mr Gibson said.
Over the years events have been held in places as diverse as kindergartens, office buildings and workshops.
