Brand new students in a brand new uniform ready for a brand new school.  Prep students Kyra Stradling, Jemima Hartridge and Helaena Papadopoulos enjoy their first meeting with the Principal of Cornish College, Kerry Bolger. Cornish College will be officially opened by the Moderator on Sunday 12 February. Cornish College on Patterson River had been a campus of St Leonards College. A decision by the St Leonards College Council to close the campus at the end of 2011 led to the formation of a ‘save our school’ parent group. The Uniting Church brokered a deal between the Cornish parent body and the St Leonards College Council and out of the heartbreak and uncertainty a new Uniting Church school has emerged.
